This document constitutes a legally binding agreement between Brighton Massage Therapy (“we”, “us”, “our”) and any person accessing this website, making a booking, or receiving services (“you”, “the client”). By using this website or booking any service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms below.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
Brighton Massage Therapy provides professional, non-sexual massage services only, for relaxation, wellbeing, and therapeutic purposes.

No erotic massage, sexual services, or services of a sexual nature are offered, implied, or permitted under any circumstances. Any interpretation of services as sexual is expressly rejected.

ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY
We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy.

Any of the following will result in immediate termination of the session without refund:
• Requests for erotic or sexual services
• Sexualised language, gestures, or behaviour
• Inappropriate touching or boundary violations
• Harassment or intimidation of therapists or staff

Incidents may be documented, future service refused, and reported where appropriate.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS (IMPORTANT NOTICE)
All massage practitioners providing services through Brighton Massage Therapy operate as independent self-employed subcontractors and are not employees.

Brighton Massage Therapy:
• Acts solely as a booking, administrative, and premises facilitation provider
• Does not control the method, manner, or delivery of treatments
• Does not supervise or direct clinical practice

Each subcontractor is solely responsible for:
• Their professional conduct
• Their qualifications and training
• Holding valid professional and public liability insurance
• Compliance with applicable laws and professional standards

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brighton Massage Therapy disclaims liability for the acts, omissions, negligence, or misconduct of independent subcontractors.

CLIENT CONSENT, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & MEDICAL DISCLOSURE
By booking or receiving treatment, you confirm that:
• You are 18 years of age or older
• You voluntarily consent to professional massage involving physical contact
• You have disclosed all relevant medical conditions, injuries, medications, or health concerns

You understand that massage therapy:
• Is not medical diagnosis or treatment
• Involves physical pressure and manipulation
• Carries inherent risks including temporary soreness, bruising, or aggravation of undisclosed conditions

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with receiving massage services.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY & LIMITATION
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and hold harmless Brighton Massage Therapy, its owners, agents, affiliates, and premises providers from any and all claims, losses, damages, or liabilities arising from services provided, except where caused by proven gross negligence or liability that cannot be legally excluded.

INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brighton Massage Therapy against any claims, damages, losses, or legal costs arising from:
• False, misleading, or incomplete information provided by you
• Breach of these terms
• Your conduct during or in connection with services
• False, malicious, or unfounded allegations

ALLEGATIONS & SAFEGUARDING
Brighton Massage Therapy enforces strict professional and safeguarding standards.

Clients acknowledge that:
• Sexual or inappropriate conduct by therapists is not permitted or tolerated
• Any allegation must be raised immediately and supported by evidence
• Brighton Massage Therapy is not liable for unsubstantiated, malicious, or false allegations

Any inappropriate conduct by a client constitutes a breach of contract.

RIGHT TO REFUSE OR TERMINATE SERVICE
Brighton Massage Therapy reserves the absolute right to refuse, cancel, or terminate services at any time, without explanation, where behaviour, safety, or compliance concerns arise.

PRIVACY POLICY & UK GDPR COMPLIANCE
Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data collected may include:
• Name and contact details
• Booking and appointment information
• Health information voluntarily disclosed
• Payment confirmation (no card details stored)

Lawful bases include contractual necessity, legal obligation, legitimate interests, and consent where applicable. Data is stored securely, retained only as required, and never sold. You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data at any time.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Use of this website, submission of a booking, or attendance at an appointment constitutes full acceptance of this agreement. No signature is required.

Brighton Massage Therapy reserves the right to update this notice at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
